Mino Raiola wants Erling Haaland to join Barcelona and to snub Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old Norwegian has been in stunning form since he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2020, in 34 outings he has bagged 35 goals and has 6 assists under his name.
His raw pace and his brilliant goal-scoring talent have attracted the attention of many European giants and these clubs are desperate to land the promising star as he will not play for Dortmund next season.
Is Barcelona winning the race to sign Haaland?
Manchester United were believed to be the favorites to sign Haaland and they were close to signing him however a move to Old Trafford was blocked by his agent Mino Raiola as they tried to negotiate with the club directly and not through him.
So a move to United looks bleak as Raiola doesn’t have a good relationship with them right now.
Real Madrid then were looking to sign the young talent as they have a verbal agreement with Dortmund regarding his sale when his contract ends.
However, according to SB Nations Raiola is pushing Haaland to sign with Barcelona over Madrid as he has a good relationship with the Catalan giants.
Barcelona who are 3rd in La Liga, looking to sign another forward who can help them score more goals, and Haaland would be the best pick due to his prolific goal-scoring form which he has shown since he joined Dortmund.
Therefore Barcelona will look to trigger his release clause when his contract ends in 2022 which is €40 million and they will be keen on getting him on board as he could turn out to be a vital asset for the club.
