Will Raphael Varane leave Madrid in the summer transfer window?

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Raphael Varane is inflexible. Either Real Madrid increases Varane’ salary or he leaves this summer. After ten years of good and loyal service, Varane wants to be transferred. There is no lack of courtiers for the French player.

Varane’s first choice is and will remain Real Madrid. The Frenchman wants to extend his adventure with the Spanish club. But if no common ground is finally found, he has several options across Europe. He is in no hurry to decide on his future, as discussions with Real Madrid have not yet been concluded.

Premier League Giants like Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in the 28-year-old French defender.

If not Madrid then where for Varane?

After Manchester United, it would be the turn of PSG to try to recruit the French international. In recent months, PSG have been getting closer to Varane and has even made a big offer for the 27-year-old. The French club is ready to pay €70 million to get Varane back in their team.

In addition, Chelsea would have also joined the list of candidates and could offer up to €70 million for the player. Thomas Tuchel wants Raphael Varane to strengthen his backline next season.

There were already rumors of interest from the Blues for Varane in the summer of 2018. But the competition looks strong now if Varane does not extend by then and finds himself in a strong position to negotiate a departure.
