According to several reports, Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping tabs on Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans. The Belgian is having an interesting for the last couple of seasons for Foxes. Following which there has been limelight upon Tielemans with some top European clubs wanting to sign him.
Youri Tielemans joined Leicester City initially on a loan deal in January 2019 from Monaco. After impressing the foxes in a six-month temporary deal, Leicester decided to sign him permanently. And doing the same Leicester City signed Youri Tielemans in the summer of 2019.
To date, the Belgian has appeared 117 times for the foxes, in which he scored 18 goals and 21 assists in all competitions. While Tielemans most important goal for Leicester came last season as he scored a long ranger against Chelsea, to lift the FA cup title. Following his winning goal, the midfielder came under spotlight, as clubs approached the foxes to sign him this summer.
However, despite all those linkings Youri Tielemans is continuing for Leicester City this season. But forwarding to next summer he might leave the club. Currently, the Belgian is under contract until 2023 and seems reluctant to sign a new deal with Leicester. As a result, his transfer rumors have again started to emerge with Real Madrid and Barcelona leading the race.
Youri Tielemans being the subject of interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona is mainly because both want to solve their midfield. And the Belgian’s performance in the last seasons while in the current season also is impressive. Following which both the Spanish giants want to cash in on the midfielder next summer. However, there is huge competition to beat before they can lay their hands on Youri Tielemans.
