Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool emerged as the frontrunners for his signature. IAccording to the reports, Liverpool made the first move after submitting an offer of £100m to Dortmund.

Several clubs to fight for Jude Bellingham

There are expectations of a competition between several clubs to sign Jude Bellingham this summer. But Real Madrid is not willing to spend excessively on the 19-year-old midfielder. According to Diario AS, Los Blancos however have set a maximum transfer fee of €120m for acquiring Bellingham.

Real Madrid’s decision to set a limit of €120m for signing Bellingham is all planned. It is linked to their plans to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema in 2024. The club is said to be considering Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as potential options for that position.

It seems that while Real Madrid officials are showing interest in signing Jude Bellingham, Florentino Perez, the president of the club, is not willing to pay an exorbitant price for their transfer targets. However, only time will tell if Real Madrid succeeds in signing Bellingham in summer. Also Bellingham’s wishes will also come to play for the transfer to happen.
