About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Real Madrid seems to have a plan to sign Erling Haaland next summer as they will be offering Rodrygo to Borussia Dortmund as per reports. It is no secret about Real Madrid is interested in Erling Haaland but the Spanish giants are facing some difficulties. The transfer price set up by Borussia Dortmund for selling Haaland, which is a worrying point for Madrid. However, to lower the price, Los Blancos might be considering a swap deal with some amount of money.

And as part of the swap deal, Real Madrid will be including Rodrygo who is a long-time target for Borussia Dortmund. The Brazilian joined the Spanish giants back in 2019, with a lot of protentional to lead at the upfront. However, Rodrygo has failed to prove himself, scoring 10 goals in 68 games for Real Madrid.

But all the blame cannot be given upon the youngster as in the last two seasons he was not given proper game time. Rodrygo hardly started any game as Zinedine Zidane didn’t trust him much, as a result, he sat on the substitute bench. Following which he seemed a bit demotivated and lost of form. While, if given the right opportunities, Rodrygo can surely prove his protentional.

However, to prove himself at Real Madrid seems a bit difficult as he will currently be on the second-choice bench. Following which Madrid doesn’t want to keep Rodrygo as a burden and is willing to let go of him. Real Madrid as per reports, will be offering Rodrygo to Dortmund in a swap deal for Haaland with some money.

The German side have been a long-time admirer of the Brazilian as they wanted to sign him before Real Madrid. However, due to some reasons, the deal couldn’t happen, but they might be getting a chance now. However, we don’t know if Borussia Dortmund will consider having Rodrygo in exchange of Haaland. As the Norwegian has proved himself more than the Brazilian in recent years.
