A significant storyline to monitor in the coming months will revolve around Kylian Mbappe’s status at Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid is also the talking point of the storyline. The 24-year-old’s existing contract is to conclude at the end of this season. Meanwhile, currently, there is no imminent agreement in place for a renewal.

PSG is resolute in their intention to prevent Mbappe from departing without compensation, and they are actively working to secure a new contract with him. Conversely, Real Madrid is harboring hopes of the opposite outcome, aiming to sign him as a free agent next summer.

Real Madrid might not be able to sign Kylian Mbappe

If Mbappe does commit to a new contract, it’s less probable that Real Madrid will pursue his signature. In such a scenario, they might opt to explore other options, even with Endrick’s arrival from Palmeiras. One of the names reportedly on their radar is Mathys Tel.

As reported by Defensa Central, Real Madrid is contemplating the possibility of making a move for Mathys Tel if Kylian Mbappe doesn’t join the club next summer. The teenager is held in high regard across Europe, with his talents particularly appreciated at his current club, Bayern Munich.

Tel currently serves as a backup to Harry Kane at Bayern, and he may reach the conclusion that Real Madrid is a more suitable destination for his career, potentially opening the door for a transfer. Nevertheless, it’s important to note that Real Madrid’s interest in Tel is still in its preliminary stages.
