About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior is having a renaissance this season with his club. His performance is now pushing Los Blancos to start discussions for improving his current deal.

Vinicius Junior is reported to be one of the lowest-paid players in the Real Madrid team. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the club is thinking about offering him a better deal and in that process secure his future with them.

Currently Vinicius Junior has a contract with Real Madrid till 2025. The Spanish giants have always considered him to be “untouchable” and with him hitting form do not want to let him go.

VINICIUS JUNIOR HITTING FORM IN REAL MADRID

Ever since Carlo Ancelotti took charge as the manager of Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior has been transformed. Before this season, the Brazilian have appeared 118 times for Madrid across all competition. In that time he scored 14 and assisted 23 times for them.

However this season Vinicius Junior has proven why Real Madrid picked him up back in 2018. In 14 appearances so far this season, the 21-year-old has scored 9 and assisted for 5 goals. This impressive performance has helped Real Madrid to lead the La Liga table.

Before the beginning of this season, there were questions asked about Vinicius Junior and his form. He was also linked with moving away from Madrid, with Liverpool one of the sides showing interest.

However, Real Madrid has always considered him to be a player that is “untouchable” and was vital for their project. Hence the new negotiations will be to reward Vinicius with a hike in his wage and ward off other clubs from approaching him.
