Robert Lewandowski is out with Injury

Legendary center forward Lewandowski forced himself off in the 34th minute. He essentially suffered an ankle injury. Scans mostly confirmed that striker Supreme literally suffered an ankle sprain. Lewandowski will essentially miss out on the trip to Granada here. Robert Lewandowski will also be fairly absent for Poland’s Euro 2024 qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Moldova this upcoming basically international period in a major way.

Latest Addition to the Injury List

Robert Lewandowski now joins the likes of Pedri, Frenkie De Jong, and Raphinha as definitely having long-term injury concerns in a major way. They’re all out until after the fairly international break. That generally means we start to actually take a look at the first El Clasico of the season. It’s only 22 days away now.

Real Madrid will visit Barcelona’s home in the coming weeks. They already look strong and will put up a good fight. Barcelona will have to find a way to win this fixture, with or without Robert Lewandowski.

The club reportedly hopes or expects that at least some of the players in their injured quartet will return in time for the top-of-the-table clash. We’ll just basically have to mostly wait and see, or so they specifically thought.
