RoundGlass Punjab FC have signed Kean Lewis from Sudeva Delhi FC

RoundGlass Punjab FC that competes in the second-tier league of India have announced the signing of winger Kean Lewis on a season-long deal on Monday.

The winger played for fellow I-League club Sudeva Delhi FC netting 2 goals and providing 2 assists across 14 matches last season. Sudeva settled at the eighth position by the end of the 2020-21 I-league campaign.

Born in Maharastra the winger started his football journey at the Mumbai-based club PIFA. Later he joined the youth setup of Mahindra United and Tata Football Academy. The player also joined a youth team of a club in the USA and graduated from the club’s university.

Lewis started his professional Football journey with the Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan. He played his first professional match against Aizwal FC on 9 January 2016. ISL club Delhi Dynamo signed the winger on a loan deal from his parent club Mohun Bagan in 2016.

After parting ways with Mohun Bagan he joins ISL club Pune City FC for one season. The winger then went on to join the Bengaluru FC and won the ISL title with the club in 2018-19. Lewis has scored 4 goals and provided three assists in the top-tier League.

Lewis will add more strength to the Punjab FC being a winger he can also play as a striker. His flexible nature to play at the different positions will definitely will give an advantage to the newly appointed head coach Ashley Westwood. His experience playing in ISL and I-League will help him establish himself in the club and will also attract ISL clubs.
