Rowllin Borges inks a three-year extension deal with Mumbai City FC

The 2020-21 Indian Super League Champions Mumbai City FC have signed a three-year extension deal with Rowllin Borges. With the new contract, the club will keep him until 2024.

The 29-year-old Goan midfielder played an important role in the winning of the Islander. He played 20 fixtures for the club, scoring two times, and also provided one assist. By the end of the 2020-21 season, Rowllin ended in the top three passers of the season. He has completed 1124 passes during the 2020 ISL season.

Currently, he is a part of the Indian National Team participating in the Qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the AFC Asian Cup China 2023.

Rowllin extends his stay at Mumbai City FC

Mumbai City FC signed Rowllin from NorthEast United FC in the 2018-19 season. He played 35 fixtures for the Islanders and scored four times during his previous two-year deal with the club.

Head coach Sergio Lobera is happy to have Rowllin for three more years in the club as he aims for a lot more success in the coming seasons.
