Subha Ghosh completes his transfer from ATK Mohun Bagan to Kerala Blasters.

The All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) player status committee has deemed Subha Ghosh’ transfer from ATK Mohun Bagan to Kerala Blasters as valid.

The committee has ruled the transfer is valid because the transfers of Nongdamba and Subha are two different transfers and to be treated separately.

The 21-year-old Nongdamba Naorem had joined Mohun Bagan on a loan deal until the end of the season and Subha was signed by the Kerala Blasters in a multi-year permanent contract in the mid-season transfer window.

However, Naorem was injured and rested due to ligament injury and this prompted Bagan to claim that the transfer agreement with Blasters for Subha was void.  But the committee declined the request because both the agreement deals were different and had no relation to each other.

Mohun Bagan issued NOC to Subha on December 27, 2020, and as a result after considering the submissions by both parties. the Committee observed that Subha Ghosh’ transfer to the Blasters is a valid contract and hence, rejected Mohun Bagan’s claims that the player’s transfer to Kerala Blasters stating otherwise.

The committee has also directed the player registration department to register Subha Ghosh as a player of the Kerala Blasters club with immediate effect.
