NEROCA FC

Neroca FC is a professional football club based in Imphal, Manipur, India. The club was founded in 1965 as the Manipur Police Sports Club, before being rebranded as Neroca FC in 2016. The club has quickly established itself as one of the top teams in the northeast of India and has achieved a lot in a short span of time.

History

Neroca FC was founded in 2016 after the Manipur Police Sports Club was taken over by a group of local businessmen. Meanwhile, the club started its journey in the second division of the I-League, and made an immediate impact, finishing as runners-up in their debut season. The following season, they won the I-League 2nd Division. Moreover, they earned a promotion to the I-League. Moreover, in their debut season in the I-League, they finished in the second position, narrowly missing out on the title. The club has since established itself as a top team in the league.

Neroca FC has won one major trophy in its history, the I-League 2nd Division in the 2016-17 season. The club has also finished as runners-up in the I-League twice, in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
