Technical Director Bino George leaves Gokulam Kerala FC

Bino George who set the base for the I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC had decided to move out of the club. His decision came after he received a couple of offers from the Indian Super League clubs.

Bino is the first appointed coach of the club appointed during their first years. He is also the first person from Kerala to hold the AFC Pro-License coaching badge. Appointed in the club since the club was established back in 2017.

Under him, the club won I-League 2020-21, Durand Cup in 2019, Indian Women’s League (2020), and two Kerala Premier League titles. 

The 44-year-old from Thrissur has a prominent role in elevating football among youngsters. Having a huge 15 years of experience scouting young minds.

He joined the club as a head coach but in the latter days, he joined the Technical Director post to work in the club’s administrative level.

Bino hand-picked a few youngsters notably Emil Benny, and Jithin MS who had a contributory role in the Malabarians maiden I-League win. He has also mentored Indian International CK Vineeth and Rino Anto.
