Mohammedan SC drew against TRAU in a 2-2 comeback at Kalyani Stadium to erase a deficit of two goals.
Goals from Komron Tursunov and Helder Lobato in first half stoppage time were cancelled out by the headers of Nikhil Kadam and Hira Mondal.
It could have been a 3-0 lead for TRAU if they would have capitalized on their respective chances. But as per our prediction the game ended in a draw.

Mohammedan’s Head Coach used (4-5-1) a wide spread position for the mid field with three central midfielders and two roaming midfielders on the flanks and one lone striker G Mukhi.
Tajikistan forward K Tursunov took TRAU ahead in the second minute before Brazilian H Ribeiro doubled the lead in the injury time of the first half. Mohammedan returned strongly after the break and reduced the margin through N Kadam near the hour mark.
Hira Mondal found the equalizer in the sixty eighth minute to help Sporting pick up a point from the match.
Right from the beginning because of shaky looking defense of the Black Panthers, TRAU was looking dangerous and creating chances one after another. Even though the Panthers were dominating possession their sloppy distribution and finishing in the final third was not giving any threats to TRAU.
The goals in the eleventh minute and in the added time of the first half gave TRAU a lead of two goals to none. However, the lead didn’t last long as the Black Panthers soon scored two goals in the second half of the game. And the match ended up in a draw.
Nikhil Kadam: His sublime dribbling and control on the ball caught the TRAU defenders off guard many times and his goal also helped the black panthers to reduce the goal difference.
TRAU will face Chennai city this Sunday at Salt Lake Stadium in the I-League. And Mohammedan SC will play against RoundGlass Punjab FC on the same day at Kalyani Stadium.
