There are reports suggesting that Xavi Simons has a bright chance of returning to his childhood club, the Catalonian giants FC Barcelona.

The Catalans are one of the few undefeated teams left on the continent this season, but Xavi is the first to confess that his developing team lags far behind the final product of his old coach.
Of course, this is not to imply that Barcelona won’t return to the top of European football. However, they will need to be on the lookout for the best talent on the market if they want to achieve that.
For the whole 2023–24 season, Paris Saint-Germain leased Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and the 20-year-old Dutchman’s performances had everyone paying attention.
Xavi Simons Return is ON or NOT
Prior to joining PSG, Simons attended Barcelona’s La Masia program, and the French club now has all the cards in terms of a transfer abroad.
After the player’s loan period is through, PSG will decide whether to sell Simons permanently, like they did to PSV Eindhoven in 2022, or to loan him out once again, according to Fichajes.
It is obvious that the player will have a voice in what happens to his career as well, and there are good reasons why he would prefer to return to a familiar club over trying something new in the Premier League.
